  • Yes, you can. However, we recommend that if you live locally you endeavour to attend the initial assessment sessions in person.

We understand that some people can't make it into the office at all, so please let us know beforehand if this is your preferred method.

  • Payment is required for all appointments at the time of booking. Your card details are not stored.

  • We don't explicitly offer Christian counselling as we use two evidence-based methods: The Gottman Method & Emotionally Focussed Therapy. However, if you're seeking a therapist who is a Christian so that they have a shared worldview, please ensure you mention this when booking your appointment.

  • Because we use evidence-based methods (Gottman & EFT), we follow their structure which includes a very thorough initial assessment process before commencing therapy. This is for a number of reasons such as: screening for contraindications for couples therapy, ensuring the right supports are in place if necessary, and ensuring that it's a good fit for everyone.

We believe that this thorough assessment phase will help you to know exactly what you're in for should you wish to proceed.

It is also very important for the therapist to gain a clearer picture of the factors going on in your relationship, before commencing therapeutic interventions.

Couples' therapy is an investment of time and money, and the thorough assessment process ensures that the best foundation is set up for the journey ahead.
